Medical City Arlington is seeking an EMS RN Coordinator to greet EMS arrivals, plan for inbound patients with the CNC, and ensure timely initiation of care. The role collaborates with EMS partners to support teamwork and patient flow within the department.

Required RN licensure and certifications (ACLS/BLS/PALS/TNCC/NVCI) with 90‑day completion windows. The position offers a full-time, midshift schedule with weekend rotation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• PALS certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• TNCC certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Greet and offload EMS arrivals during the shift.
• Meet assumption of care standards.
• Collaborate with EMS partners to improve outcomes and service.
• Assist in managing department flow with the CNC.
• Provide recommendations on EMS offloading processes.
• Coordinate training for relief EMS RNs.
• Receive patients and initiate care, then hand off to receiving RN.
