Job summary

Sinclair Community College is looking for a part-time (adjunct) faculty member to teach Emergency Medical Services at their downtown Dayton campus. This role enables students to acquire skills to become EMTs or Paramedics, and requires a strong commitment to student success and effective teaching strategies.

The candidate must be a licensed Ohio Paramedic with relevant teaching experience, and possess the ability to utilize modern educational technology. Benefits include a tuition waiver and support for professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; an associate’s degree is preferred.
• Licensed Ohio Paramedic required and Fire Instructor I or II.
• At least 2 years of paramedic level patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner.
