Job summary

Novelis is seeking an EMRA Leader for the Guthrie Recycle Center in Kentucky. You will lead mechanical, electrical, reliability, and automation teams to minimize downtime and improve asset availability.

You will manage budgets, capital projects, and safety while driving maintenance strategies and capital investments. Requires 5+ years in engineering leadership with strong knowledge of automation, process safety, and lean principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
• Master's degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation, Mechanical or related field and/or P.E. certification preferred.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience with leadership responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, maintenance, reliability, and technical teams in planning, scheduling, and maintaining assets.
• Ensure work is scoped, planned, and scheduled to minimize downtime.
• Address safety, process safety, and environmental performance promptly.
• Provide and maintain equipment that can be operated safely and ergonomically.
• Lead projects to install, upgrade, or modify center assets, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Develop maintenance strategies to improve asset availability and elite performance.
• Define and maintain equipment reliability requirements and asset strategies.
• Lead automation, controls, instrumentation, and industrial systems.
• Improve automation system reliability, cybersecurity, and maintainability.
• Drive reliability improvements through predictive and preventive maintenance, reducing downtime.
