Great Plains Health is seeking an HIM Technician to support Health Information Management through EMR and EPIC workflows. You will assist with transcription, abstracting, and the handling of medical records across multiple departments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely releases.

This role emphasizes proficiency with EMR systems, patient record retrieval, and collaboration with healthcare staff to maintain high-quality documentation and timely information flow.

Formación

• Knowledge of EMR and clinical information systems.
• Ability to operate transcription and reporting tools.
• Proficiency with EPIC in-basket and record retrieval workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Assess EMR work queues and verify missing dictated reports.
• Run transcription systems and transcribe imaging and pediatric reports.
• Manage deficiency analysis workflow and validate required elements.
• Gather, prep, scan, index, and return records; ensure compliant releases.
• Monitor EPIC in-basket and support outpatient documentation.
