Job summary

Charlestown by Erickson Senior Living, a continuing care retirement community, is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) to implement security programs and provide outreach within the community.

You will patrol the property, enforce regulations, respond to emergencies, and document incidents. Current EMR certification and CPR for Healthcare Providers are required, with EMR certification to be obtained within 30 days if not already held.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• EMR certification within 30 days of hire accepted as condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property and provide relief staffing for the gatehouse.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care using basic interventions.
• Investigate reports of missing items, theft, or vandalism and potential criminal activity.
• Coordinate with local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
• Complete thorough incident reports using the online system.
