Job summary

Lakeland Care Incorporated in Wisconsin seeks a dedicated EMR Applications Specialist to support care management by configuring EMR software, creating testing plans, and guiding end-user utilization.

Under the supervision of the EMR Applications Manager, you will test features, document configurations, coordinate improvement requests, and ensure HIPAA compliance while helping Lakeland serve its members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT or related field.
• 3–5 years in long-term care or EMR support preferred.
• Experience with EMR configurations and care management workflows.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and data security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Configure EMR applications to meet requirements and improve efficiency.
• Create testing plans for upgrades and new features.
• Test updated features in EMR test environments and coordinate rollout.
• Document configuration elements and manage change requests.
• Troubleshoot end-user issues and provide timely support.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy.
