Lakeland Care, Inc. is seeking a skilled EMR Applications Support professional to optimize the EMR system, configure features, and support care management workflows. The role involves testing upgrades, coordinating improvement requests, and assisting end users with daily questions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of EMR or health IT experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of HIPAA and regulatory requirements to ensure compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of long-term care or EMR support experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with process automation and efficiency improvements.
• Understanding of complex application systems workflows.
• Experience in regulatory/compliance awareness (HIPAA) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist in configuring EMR applications to support business initiatives.
• Coordinate submission of EMR improvement requests and track status.
• Test EMR features in test systems and communicate results for rollout.
• Participate in project planning and provide status updates.
• Troubleshoot end-user questions and support daily requests.
