Job summary

REACH seeks a Life Skills Coach PT (Direct Service Professional) in Whittier, CA to support individuals with diverse abilities with daily living and vocational skills. The role involves direct service, training, and documentation to help participants achieve independence.

Under supervision, you will assist with living and vocational objectives, provide clear instruction, and transport participants to activities while adhering to REACH safety and policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old with CA driver’s license and good DMV record.
• CPR and First Aid training and certification are provided by REACH.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing vocational, independent, and living skills objectives as per the participant's plan.
• Provide group and individual instruction to execute the plans.
• Transport participants to vocational, medical, and training activities as needed.
• Record progress notes and participate in trainings and safety meetings.
