Job summary

Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services (IVRS) seeks a Rehabilitation Assistant in Clinton, IA. The role supports individuals with disabilities from referral to job placement, promoting independence and meaningful employment.

Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with hybrid telework options after six months. Base salary starts at $18.32 per hour, $1,465.60 bi-weekly, or $38,105.60 annually.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time work experience in a human services field involving customer service or information provision.
• Experience coordinating schedules and handling confidential information is preferred.
• Ability to guide job seekers through referrals and applications.

Responsibilities

• Empower individuals to achieve meaningful employment and independence through vocational rehabilitation services.
• Guide candidates from referral through placement and retention, building skills and confidence.
• Coordinate intake, orientation, job search training, and employer relations.
