Job summary

DABS, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide individualized support to adults with developmental disabilities in home and community settings.

You will focus on active supervision to ensure health and safety and assist with activities of daily living as needed. We offer full-time and part-time schedules, weekly pay, healthcare benefits, mileage and cell phone reimbursement, and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely and implement established care plans.
• Maintain high standards of professional ethics and punctual attendance.
• Ability to communicate clearly and document observations accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, person-centered supervision within the individual’s home and community.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, meals, and light housekeeping.
• Supervise medication administration when needed and accompany to appointments.
• Observe and report changes in health, behavior, and environment to supervisor.
• Complete daily logs and progress notes per DDS, Regional Center, and agency standards.
