Job summary

CARESPHERE is looking for dependable, caring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available with hourly pay of $17–$19.

You’ll help with daily routines, meals, transportation, documentation, and community activities while following each person’s plan. Benefits include an $800 sign-on bonus, flexible scheduling, weekly pay, paid time off, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Previous DSP experience is preferred; caregiving, healthcare, education, or human services experience welcome.
• Patience, reliability, and respect for each person’s choices.
• A reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance for transportation assignments.
• Ability to complete required screenings, training, and electronic visit documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines, meal preparation, household tasks, and personal care as needed.
• Help individuals build skills for greater independence.
• Support community outings, hobbies, social connections, and other activities they enjoy.
• Provide transportation when required for assignments.
• Follow the individual’s support plan and document the support you provide.
• Communicate with the individual, their family, and the CARESPHERE team.
