Monarch Healthcare in North Carolina is seeking a Developmental Specialist Vocational for a PRN role to build positive relationships with individuals and support them in achieving personal goals as outlined in their plans.

You will assess hopes and dreams, protect rights, and coordinate with community resources while ensuring safety and documentation are up to date. The role may require sleepovers, driving, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Experience with adults with a mental health diagnosis and/or developmental disabilities is not required.

Responsabilités

• Assess individuals for hopes, dreams, and desires and provide supports to help achieve them.
• Protect and promote the rights of individuals and assist in advocacy efforts.
• Serve as a resource for services and supports in the community to meet identified needs or goals.
• Supervise, educate, and monitor individuals in work settings.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety procedures.
