Monarch Healthcare in Manteo, NC is seeking a Developmental Specialist Vocational for PRN/part-time support. You will build positive relationships with individuals served and assist them in achieving personal goals as outlined in their individual plans.

Responsibilities include assessing hopes and desires, safeguarding rights, supporting advocacy, supervising in work settings, maintaining safety, and thorough documentation. Sleepover in residential settings may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Driver's License (Valid) - USA.
• Experience with adults with mental health diagnoses and/or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Assess each person for hopes, dreams, and desires and provide supports to achieve them.
• Protect and promote the rights of individuals served; assist with advocacy skills and efforts.
• Serve as a resource on community services for identified needs or goals.
• Supervise, educate, and monitor individuals in work settings.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Educate individuals on required work procedures, rules, and rights.
• Facilitate person-centered, positive relationships and self-determination.
• Contribute to assessment, planning, and documentation of goals and progress.
• Complete daily progress notes, logs, and required records.
