Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a Corinth, Kentucky school-based setting. The role involves direct instruction, IEP development, assessments, and collaboration with families and a multidisciplinary team.

We offer guaranteed hours, benefits tailored to employee or contractor arrangement, and support from both the school district and TheraPeds Partners. The position runs September–May/June 2027, with hourly pay $65–$85+ depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Special Education or related field.
• Current or eligible Kentucky Visual Impairments credential.
• Meets Kentucky Basic Skills Requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative TVI services to students who are blind or visually impaired.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs.
• Conduct educational and vision assessments.
• Collaborate with families, school staff, and specialists.
• Document progress and maintain compliance.
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings.
