YAI - Seeing beyond disability in Jackson Heights, NY, seeks a Therapeutic Youth Support Specialist to supervise and care for youth at all times, implement individualized service plans, and maintain a safe, respectful environment that supports learning and development.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or HS Diploma plus 2 years experience in mental/behavioral health.
• Ability to meet essential physical demands (lift, stand, walk, etc.).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to document services for billing and treatment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide supervision and care for youth at all times.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as needed.
• Observe and document patient behaviors and treatment responses.
• Assist with homework/remote learning activities.
• Participate in crisis de-escalation and safety planning.
• Prepare and maintain treatment records and reports.
• Transport youth to activities, appointments, and school when needed.
• Coordinate with families, clinical staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
