Job summary

The Westborough Public Schools seek a dynamic Educational Support Professional - 3 (Special Education) for Mill Pond Intermediate School starting in 2026-2027. This on-site role is 6.5 hours daily, with two additional Mondays per month, and includes a longer day when required.

CORI/SORI/SAFIS background checks are mandatory. ESP-3 supports students across K-22 with diverse needs, assisting with instructional modifications, data collection, and collaboration with teachers.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field; solid experience may substitute for a degree.
• Background check required: CORI, SORI, SAFIS per 603 CMR 51.00.
• Ability to work with diverse learners, including English Language learners, and students with varying needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students in large groups, small groups, and one-to-one settings.
• Assist with accommodations and modifications under IEP.
• Monitor and collect data as directed by the team; participate in staff development.
• Support teachers and collaborate with staff to ensure safe, inclusive learning environments.
• Cover classroom responsibilities when needed and assist with mobility and personal care tasks as required for Tier 3 ESPs.
