Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to empower students with diverse needs. You will collaborate with ARD to tailor IEPs and provide targeted instruction across inclusion and resource settings, while tracking progress to ensure goals are met.

Role requires strong knowledge of IDEA, ARD processes, and the ability to work with families and school teams to support holistic student development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Texas Educator Certification in Special Education (EC-12) through TEA.
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop IEPs with ARD committee.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.
• Monitor student progress with data-driven interventions.
• Collaborate with general educators, paraprofessionals, families and related service providers.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and classroom management strategies.
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
