Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Missouri teaching certification with Special Education endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities per IEPs.
• Develop and monitor individualized education plans and goals.
• Provide tutorial assistance and targeted interventions.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, admins, related service providers, and families.
• Participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of student programs and services.
• Adapt curriculum and materials to meet individual needs.
• Maintain accurate student records per federal/state/district requirements.
• Monitor progress and communicate outcomes to families and team.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and promote student growth.
• Attend team meetings and required trainings.
