Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality educational services to students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher supports the academic, social, and behavioral development of students with diverse learning needs. This role requires a strong commitment to collaboration, individualized instruction, and student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational plans and goals.
• Provide tutorial assistance and targeted interventions to support student achievement.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to ensure student success.
• Participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of student programs and services.
• Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements.
• Monitor student progress and communicate outcomes to families and educational team members.
