Job summary

Amergis is seeking passionate Special Education Teachers to support preschool-aged students in an Early Learning Center setting in St. Louis, MO. You will provide specialized instruction and develop IEPs for a caseload of 20+ students.

Collaborate with paraprofessionals and support staff, address behavioral and developmental needs, and participate in parent meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to ensure student progress. Start date: August 17, 2026.

Qualifications

• Missouri DESE Special Education Certification (Birth-Grade 3) required.
• Experience writing and implementing IEPs.
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills.
• Preschool special education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage classrooms serving students ages 3-5.
• Provide special education instruction and support.
• Develop and maintain IEPs for a caseload of 20+ students.
