Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.
• Valid state certification in Special Education and content area.
• Previous experience in a Special Education classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Adapt lessons to meet diverse needs of students.
• Develop and implement IEPs for a caseload.
• Assess student performance and track progress.
• Update IEPs to reflect goals and achievements.
• Teach small groups for academically at‑risk students.
• Collect and analyze student data to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, counselors, and admins.
• Prepare students for transitions between grades and graduation.
• Implement state standards and assessments.
• Submit weekly lesson plans and use technology for communication.
• Maintain a clear behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
• Foster a positive and enthusiastic learning environment.
• Establish cooperative relationships with students and families.
