Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division Rochester Corps is seeking a Social Services Coordinator to provide direct assistance to Pathway of Hope participants and deliver comprehensive case management. You will recruit eligible participants, maintain precise records, and support housing and financial needs while promoting our programs in the community.

Applicants should have an associate degree or equivalent experience; if the degree is in social work, state licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; combination of education and experience may be considered.
• If degree is in social work, must be licensed by state board.
• Previous social services experience required and background checks passed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to program participants, including housing assessments and financial assistance.
• Maintain accurate participant records in casefiles and databases.
• Deliver long-term, strength-based, person-centered case management for POH participants.
• Recruit qualifying participants and promote services within the community.
• Assist with events and occasional food preparation when needed.
• Engage in activities to promote The Salvation Army and POH goals.
