Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Talbotton, Georgia, seeks an Occupational Therapist to support a focused elementary caseload for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is contract-to-hire and part-time, averaging 10–15 hours per week, with on-site service in the school setting.

You will deliver individualized OT sessions aligned with IEP goals, collaborate with teachers and families, document progress, and help students develop daily living skills and independence through evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license for Georgia.
• Experience supporting wheelchair-dependent students.
• Background in elementary school, home health, and healthcare OT settings.
• Collaborative, compassionate, and adaptable communication skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and student-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT sessions customized to students' IEP goals and daily needs.
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement strategies.
• Document student progress and maintain detailed, timely reports.
• Adapt interventions for students with diverse physical and learning needs.
• Provide training and education to staff on assistive technology and accommodations.
