Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time School-Based Occupational Therapist to support middle school students in a Washington state school setting. The role offers work-life balance with a caseload of around 40 students and a September start through January term.

You'll assess OT needs, develop individualized intervention plans, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers and families to integrate OT into classroom strategies.

Qualifications

• Current and active ESA Certificate required.
• Valid Washington State Department of Health Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting.
• Knowledge of school-based Occupational Therapy practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address OT needs for middle school students.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services and student progress.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate OT into classroom strategies.
• Flexibly adapt to evolving caseload and student needs.
