Job summary

Greenwood School District 50 is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year to screen, diagnose, and treat speech-language disorders to support students’ educational progress.

The role requires licensure in SC as a Speech-Language Pathologist or intern, a master’s degree or higher, and ASHA CCC/CFY eligibility. You will collaborate with the Special Education department and attend professional development to stay current.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of various Speech-Language Impairments and best practices for supporting students with disabilities.
• Ability to work well with people and maintain positive interpersonal skills.
• Must have SC licensure or eligibility for Speech-Language Pathologist in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions to students and support teachers for speech and language concerns in the MTSS Process.
• Provide diagnostic services and placement for students with speech-language disorders.
• Schedule and conduct therapy for students.
• Complete interim and quarterly progress reports for students on your caseload.
• Attend in-services/conferences to stay current on speech/language issues and CEUs.
