ColumbiaCare Services, Inc. in Brookings, OR is seeking a part‑time Residential Peer Support Specialist to welcome new residents and support their goals in the Bell Cove RTH program.

The role emphasizes compassionate one‑to‑one conversations, trust-building, and guiding residents toward self-determined recovery goals. You will also help coordinate peer groups and connect individuals with community supports.

Qualifications

• Personal experience with mental health challenges.
• Certified and registered as a Peer Support Specialist or Peer Wellness Specialist through the Oregon Health Authority.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Meet each new resident at admission and provide compassionate support.
• Engage in one-to-one conversations to build trust and guide residents in articulating self-determined goals.
• Facilitate and coordinate peer groups for recovery discussions and connect residents with community supports.
• Provide crisis de-escalation training and safety procedures.
