Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Lived experience with mental health services is valued and beneficial.
• Certification as an RSS through ODMHSAS must be obtained within the first 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services and assist individuals in managing their recovery.
• Enhance development of natural supports and coping skills for individuals in the community.
• Advocate for consumers and provide information and peer support in a community setting; maintain professional and ethical interactions.
