Job summary

St. Luke's Health–The Vintage Hospital in Houston seeks a Physical Therapist to help patients rebuild or maintain physical wellbeing, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. You will conduct evaluations, develop plans of care, and deliver direct treatments while meeting productivity goals and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

You will need strong communication, patient-centered care, and age-appropriate competencies to support patient outcomes within our hospital's system.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy and licensure eligibility in TX on hire
• TX licensure upon hire
• Basic Life Support (CPR) within 14 days

Responsibilities

• Develop and update plan of care with patient/family based on age and goals
• Perform age appropriate therapy interventions and adjust plan as needed
• Meet patient care productivity standards and collaborate with interdisciplinary team
• Promote professional customer service and engage patient/family in goal setting and education
• Complete documentation including charting, billing, and schedule updates
• Utilize information systems for patient care information and departmental communications
