Job summary

St. Luke's Health–The Vintage Hospital in Houston, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist to help patients rebuild or maintain physical wellbeing, reduce pain, and improve quality of life.

You will perform initial evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and deliver direct treatments while meeting productivity standards and collaborating with families and the interdisciplinary team. The role requires strong communication, age-appropriate competency, and a patient-centered approach to care

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy and licensure eligibility will be considered.
• TX licensure required on hire.
• BLS/CPR certification within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and develop/update individualized plans of care with goals and a discharge plan.
• Provide a variety of direct treatments and meet patient care productivity standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families to promote optimal outcomes.
• Promote professional customer service and coordinate with hospital departments to meet patient needs.
• Complete documentation including charting, charge entry, peer reviews, and daily schedule updates.
• Utilize hospital information systems to access patient care information and support department and hospital goals.
