Job summary

Commonwealth Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide home-based therapy and help patients regain physical function under the supervision of an OT. This full-time position supports independence and quality of life for diverse patients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation.
• Preferred CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy in home care following state laws and supervising OT guidance.
• Follow plan of care, instruct and assist patients in evidence-based treatment.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses to care to the supervisor and physician.
• Educate patient, family, and care team in therapy areas within scope.
• Maintain ability to work with diverse patients and settings.
