Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach daily instructional support to students on caseload.
• Serve as an inclusion teacher to support learners with high needs.
• Differentiate curriculum with general education teachers; provide appropriate accommodations.
• Ensure alignment with the school’s academic goals for student achievement.
• Prepare and maintain IEPs; revise/update as needed.
• Coordinate outsourced SPED testing and manage SPED consultants (e.g., SLT, OT).
• Ensure compliance with federal/state SPED regulations; manage paperwork (IEPs, 504, etc.).
• Maintain regular communication with families and guardians.
• Create CPR/CAP documents to ensure DOE compliance.
