Job summary

New Start SLS is seeking compassionate Life Skills Coaches to provide in-home and community-based support for adults with developmental disabilities. This on-call role covers Roseville and Citrus Heights, with flexible shifts and opportunities to pick up planned and emergency coverage.

Duties include daily living skills, budgeting, meal planning, transportation, and social activities, plus documenting notes, attending trainings, and maintaining valid background checks and CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
Provide evidence of a Negative TB Test and a Clear Physical within the last year.
Provide proof of current CPR and First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with learning daily skills and activities, including budgeting and meal planning.
Provide in-home and community-based support per service programs.
Document daily notes and adhere to medication administration processes.
Attend training sessions and complete required continued education monthly.
Drive clients when eligible using personal vehicle with valid license and insurance.
