Job summary

AVANCE, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Child Development Teacher located in San Antonio, Texas, to care for infants and toddlers, addressing their cognitive, social, and emotional developmental needs. Qualified candidates will have the Infant and Toddler CDA or equivalent education, with preferred experience in licensed childcare facilities. CPR and First Aid training is essential, along with strong communication skills for effective interaction with parents and children.

Qualifications

• Must have at least six (6) months in a licensed childcare facility.
• Preferred experience in public/private school or early childhood facility.
• Spanish fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of children while under care.
• Conduct developmental screenings of infants and toddlers.
• Develop and teach weekly lesson plans for children.
