Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Instructs patients in active and passive range of motion, gait and functional exercises.
• Observes patient responses and reports to supervising PT and care team.
• Coordinates care with nurses and physicians as part of the plan of care.
• Instructs patient, family and care team in therapy within scope of practice.
• Works in various home environments regardless of age, race, creed, or condition.
