Job summary

Embracelifeservices is seeking a Group Home Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate care in a group home setting. This role involves assisting residents with daily activities, implementing individualized care plans, and promoting growth and community involvement.

The DSP may work part-time, full-time, or on-call with shifts including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. A fingerprint clearance card and CPR/First Aid certifications are required, along with

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Certifications for CPR/First Aid, Article 9, and Prevention and Support required.
• Experience with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities preferred.
• Eligible drivers must have a clean 39-month MVD report and hold a valid AZ Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities per individualized care plans.
• Foster an inclusive environment promoting independence and dignity.
• Assist with meals, medication administration, hygiene, and mobility as needed.
• Plan and implement engaging activities and outings for residents.
• Encourage socialization, recreation, and skill development through activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident activities, progress, and incidents.
