Job summary

Embracelifeservices in Arizona is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate care, support, and engagement to individuals with developmental disabilities residing in a group home. The DSP creates a nurturing environment, facilitates meaningful activities, and promotes independence and community involvement.

Shifts include mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. A minimum 18 years old, HS diploma, fingerprint clearance, CPR/First Aid, and state certifications

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to obtain Arizona State level one fingerprint clearance.
• Able to obtain CPR/First Aid, Article 9, and Prevention and Support certifications.
• Experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities is preferred.
• Eligible drivers must have a clean 39-month MVD report and have a valid AZ Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities based on individualized care plans.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment promoting independence and dignity.
• Assist with meal preparation, hygiene, and mobility as needed.
