Job summary

REACH Academy Charter School seeks a dedicated fourth-grade teacher to deliver standards-aligned instruction using REACH's curriculum and available classroom technology. You will differentiate instruction, assess progress, and maintain a safe, organized classroom.

The role requires NYS teaching certification and a commitment to equity, inclusion, and high student achievement. Salary is placed on the district salary scale with experience-based steps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree preferred.
• New York State teaching certification appropriate for the position required, eligibility for reciprocity, or the ability to meet applicable charter school teacher requirements.
• Knowledge of elementary education and NYS Next Generation Learning Standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction for fourth-grade learners.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
• Regularly assess scholar understanding and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding progress and concerns.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom environment and strong routines.
• Collaborate with grade-level staff and specialists to support scholars.
