Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old and have a high school diploma or its equivalent, or an AA degree or 72 college credits, or have passed ParaPro or Pearson assessments as described.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with individualized and small group instruction for students of all educational levels.
• Support students with physical or behavioral needs and those with special health care needs.
• Assist with classroom preparation, retrieval, and storage of equipment and supplies.
• May supervise and assist students in library, classrooms, playgrounds, or on the bus.
