Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. in Southbridge, MA, seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with disabilities through daily living assistance and community participation. Paid training is provided, and a sign-on bonus is offered.

Schedule: Sun 9a-4p, Mon 2p-10p, Tue 2p-10p, Wed 1p-10p, Thu 2p-10p. Part-Time: 40 hours. Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour – paid training provided by Venture!

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting and personal care.
• Accompany to medical appointments, banking and community activities.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans; assist with goals.
• Maintain training and compliance with DDS policies and safety guidelines.
