Venture Community Services Inc. in Dudley, MA is seeking a Direct Support Professional for a part-time 24-hour schedule (Sun 7a-3p, Tue 7a-3p, Sat 7a-3p).

You will empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be as active as possible in daily living and the community. This role includes paid training, a $500 sign-on bonus for part-time employees, and a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour.

• Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community.
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged member of the team.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with disabilities with daily living activities.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, bathing and personal care.
• Support participation in community activities and appointments.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans.
