Job summary

Venture Community Services is hiring a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22 and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will support daily living activities, accompany individuals to appointments, and help them engage in community activities with a focus on independence and dignity.

The position offers paid training, a Sun shift schedule (9a-3p and 3p-9p) for part-time, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community.
• Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with IDD to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks, meals, errands, appointments and community activities.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans; document needs.
