RHA Health Services in Guilford, CT seeks a Direct Support Professional for the Greensboro/Guilford II area on a 2nd shift PT schedule. The DSP provides personalized support to individuals with disabilities, helping them engage meaningfully in their communities.

Responsibilities include promoting independence, implementing person-centered plans, assisting with daily living, transportation, and advocacy while maintaining confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Complete pre-employment screening as part of our hiring process.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to person-centered support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster independence with supportive guidance.
• Knowledge of disability rights, self-advocacy, and community integration.
