Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Thu–Sat 10p–8a. Join a team dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and mental health needs through person-centered support and community engagement.

You will help individuals identify needs, implement services, promote independence, and safeguard rights while following established guidelines and state regulations. CPR training and ongoing education are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass pre-employment screening.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to person-centered support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to foster independence while providing needed support.
• Knowledge of disability rights, self-advocacy, and community integration.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals’ rights and civil liberties.
• Promote health and safety and wellness initiatives.
• Encourage self-advocacy and community participation.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Assist with daily living tasks and personal care as needed.
• Document services and supports accurately and timely.
• Assist with medication administration per state laws.
• Connect individuals with community resources for goals.
