The TemPositions Group seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide essential services to individuals with developmental disabilities under the Residence Manager’s supervision. You will help create a safe, normalized, and therapeutic home environment grounded in encouragement, respect for resident rights, and teamwork.

Key duties include assisting with daily tasks, meal preparation, documenting notes, and coordinating transportation, all while adhering to the organization’s Code of Ethics,

Formación

• Background clearances required (police, abuse/neglect, sex offender registry).
• Health & safety clearance and up-to-date immunizations per NY DPH guidance.
• No disciplinary actions in the past 12 months.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support residents' daily lives, independence, and personal growth.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and self-care skills.
• Implement behavioral plans and encourage community engagement.
• Perform housekeeping, meal prep, and grocery shopping.
• Plan client appointments and coordinate transportation.
• Document daily notes and service provisions per the organization’s ethics and values.
