Job summary

Neuron Health Systems, Llc in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help adults with developmental disabilities live full, independent lives in their homes and communities. This on-site, one-on-one role focuses on daily living support.

You will assist with daily living skills, community activities, and social/communication development; provide medication reminders; monitor health and behavior; and follow person-centered care plans in collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Patience, reliability, and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.

Responsibilities

Support individuals with daily living skills, including hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Assist with community integration activities — appointments, errands, and recreational outings.
Support individuals in building social, communication, and independent living skills.
Provide medication reminders in accordance with the individual's plan.
Monitor and document behavior, health status, and daily progress.
Follow each individual's person-centered support plan.
Communicate regularly with the care team about changes in needs or condition.
Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times.
