Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey seeks a dedicated Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live independently and engage fully in their communities. You will assist with daily living activities, help implement ISPs, provide companionship, and support medication administration as directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid training completed via approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Implement ISPs aligned with clients’ goals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor client health as per guidelines.
• Support transportation to appointments and community outings.
• Maintain care documentation and follow behavioral support plans.
