Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live independently.

Paid training, flexible schedules, and weekly pay are offered in a mission-driven team environment in Hackettstown, NJ. Experience is not required as we provide paid training and ongoing support; 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
Willingness to address personal care needs; lifting may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support for activities of daily living (ADLs) and community participation.
Assist with meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
Support individuals in employment, social activities, and learning new skills.
Use adaptive tools to aid communication and independence.
Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
Communicate with Abound team members, families, and case managers as needed.
Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
