Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Williamsport and surrounding areas.

You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live independently. This role offers flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid training, and opportunities for advancement within a mission-driven company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with team members, families, and external parties as needed.
