Job summary

Ohana House Inc is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist residents with daily living activities, promote independence, and support community integration in home and community settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Implement individualized support plans by following specific instructions and adapting approaches to meet evolving needs.
• Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and any changes in health or well-being.
• Facilitate social, recreational, and educational activities that promote skill development, community involvement, and personal growth.
• Ensure a safe and clean living environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and responding promptly to emergencies or behavioral challenges.
