Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning in Bedford, NH is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support in a community setting for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily activities, including chores, meals, recreation, and learning activities, while promoting independence.

The DSP represents client needs and may contribute to program planning. As part of the role, you may help with transportation to activities using company or personal vehicle with

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities in a professional setting strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills; experience using Therap a plus!
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion and dedication for helping others.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US driver’s license and auto insurance required, with at least 3 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting.
• Assist with daily activities, including household chores, meal preparation, recreation, and learning activities.
• Support transportation to community activities and help build life skills; mileage reimbursement may apply.
